Our Founder
Kyla L. Wright
Operation: S.A.S.H. Founder and Executive Director, Kyla L. Wright has been hosting Operation S.A.S.H. events, seminars, workshops and awareness events since 2016 when she was a sophomore at Hampton University in Virginia, following her unfortunate victimization. Since then, she established S.A.S.H. as a medium of healing herself and helping others, swearing to not be a "victim," but instead a "victor."
Kyla's advocacy has followed her to speeches on Capitol Hill, national and local news interviews, continued awareness-raising in her hometown of Detroit, MI and even took her to the national stage, being crowned Miss North America 2024 for her community works through Operation: S.A.S.H. and beyond.
Now, Kyla has made S.A.S.H. an official nonprofit organization with the purpose of continually raising awareness of an issue that impacts 81% of women and 43% of men in their lifetime. As a 501(c)3, S.A.S.H. will provide informative and emotionally-conscious information for survivors and supporters of those affected by sexual assault through programming, speeches, written and online content; speak at community events, universities, and high schools; and provide group and individual therapy for survivors of assault.

Our Board of Directors
Operation: S.A.S.H. is led by a diverse board comprising survivors, advocates, mental health professionals, and experts in sexual assault awareness and nonprofit work. This blend of perspectives fosters a comprehensive approach to our mission, promoting awareness and supporting survivors. Their commitment empowers Operation: S.A.S.H. to make a lasting impact.
